Hey Everyone! Its been over a year since I wrote a new journal entry so I appreciate all of you, and Michelle, for your dedication and support of my site.
As you might know, I had torn my ACL in January and was in the process of a long 8 month recovery, but now I am finally back 100%! I think that was one of the toughest surgeries I have had to endure but I had a lot of support from my teammates, coaches, and family that helped me along the way. Although I did not get to compete for my team this season, I got to contribute in other ways and at the end of the season I was awarded the "Sunshine Award" for the "joy they bring to the team experience through their smiles and playful personalities." Another positive, (I tried to find all the possible positives during the recovery), I took a medical red-shirt my freshman year so I get to stay and compete for UNC a 5th year!
This week I will be getting my new floor routine to the music I put together for last season! I never got my routine to it last year because I got injured a few days before the choreographer came. So I am very excited to start it and I hope you all like it! Our first competition is in Cancun and we get to spend almost a week there! This is the first meet we get to travel to somewhere tropical :) so after the meet we get to go snorkeling and do other fun activities. We are also traveling to Alabama and LSU competing against some really good teams. If you can, come out and support UNC gymnastics for a great year!!!
Other than gymnastics, academics are going really well too! Last semester I made the EAGL All-Academic Team. Since I have a fifth year, I also decided to double major so I will be doing drama and theater along with business. Eventually, I want to study abroad in Italy, so I started taking Italian. I don't know how people learn multiple languages because I think its pretty difficult. But I am improving on my Italian! I have been auditioning for a few plays this semester so hopefully I will get a part in one before the year is over.
Well, I will write again soon I promise! Thank you so much for visiting my site and if you have any comments feel free to write in the guestbook!

Hey Fans!
I know it's been a while since I wrote last, but at least I will have a lot to say! Well, for the past few weeks I have been living in my new home, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and I'm loving it! My teammates are amazing girls and my roommate is so great... we have so much in common. She is on the golf team and she is from Seattle, Washington. I have met so many people who have become my close friends. Academically, I'm enjoying all my classes and I have some interesting teachers who wake me up on those 8 o'clock class days, haha! But over all, I am really enjoying my college experience.
Over the summer, I spent a lot of time at my beach house in LBI New Jersey. I love the beach so any free time I had I spent there with my friends and my boyfriend. My family and I took a vacation to West Virginia to go white water rafting, horsebackriding, and all that fun stuff! I almost died when I fell in the rapid and got caught under the boat, ahhhhh... haha, but obviously I survived! The whole trip was actually a great experience for us. I have never done that before so it was really exciting. Other than those places, I spent some time in OCNJ with some friends and when I wasn't at the gym, I was hanging out with my boyfriend, doing the usual movie, mall, relaxing, etc.
It was sad to leave all my old teammates and coaches behind but we had a great last competition season together and the summer was just as fun... working on new skills for college, graduation parties, camp, and shopping for our dorms. But I will always visit when I come back home! I'm not going to want to miss a chance to practice with my girlies! As far as my elbow goes, some days are better than others but I just have to keep up with therapy and I can cope with it.
Well, I'm really excited for the competition season and to compete with my new teammates! Hopefully you will all catch a competition on TV or even make it to one if you're in the area and cheer me on! Leave a message in the guestbook, I would love to here from you! And make sure you let Michelle know how awesome the new layout looks with all the updated pics!!! It looks amazing, thanks girl!
Talk to ya'll soon!
Krista

Hey hey hey! Welcome to my website! Take a look around and tell me or Michelle what you think in my guestbook. She does a wonderful job with my website and I cannot thank her enough :)
Well, FINALLY I have big, exciting news... I am back in gymnastics!!!!! I am training at AJS Pancott Gymnastics Center and I LOVE it! I am so glad to be back. Due to some alternative physical therapy, my elbow is responding well and I am able to continue training.
Because of my elbow issue, I am no longer training elite in hope of making the 2008 Olympics. My goal has changed now... I am training level 10 and working my hardest to get a college scholarship. As for now, I am only doing beam, floor, and vault to protect my elbow. I am still swinging some bars here and there but until I know my elbow is completely healed, I can't push it too hard too fast. The AJS Pancott Gymnastics Team are suppportive of each other and they are such nice girls! They made me feel like I was a part of the team on my first day. The positive atmosphere everyone has created in the gym has made it easy for me to love gymnastics even more! Steve and Sue have created such a wonderful program! They truly care about their gymnasts and help them get where they want. I believe they can help me achieve my goals too!
I want to thank all of you who visit my website and I hope you enjoy it. I appreciate all of your support and would love to here from you. So before you leave, please sign my guestbook!
Love,
Krista <3

Hey guys!!!
Welcome to my website! I appreciate all of your support so much and I hope you like the site. Michelle has been such a great webmaster and keeps the site looking awesome! I am so greatful to have her as my webmaster; she really is the best!!!
I have a lot of news for you! If you have been following my site you know that I have my elbow problem that has been going on for almost 4 years now and the doctors haven't been able to fix it. Well, I was ready to give up when I went in for one last doctors visit, and I THINK THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM! I go in for some more tests to see if I have Theracic Oulet Syndrome. If you visit the news link, I have more information on that topic that explains everything.
Right now, I have taken up track that finished in June and have been training cross country for the fall. That has been really fun and I really like it. It's not as fun as gymnastics! But it will do until I can do gymnastics again! haha! I'm going to be in 11th grade this year and I'm really excited to start looking for colleges. I can't believe I only have two more years of school, yay!!!! I hope you enjoyed the site and I would love to hear from you in my guestbook! So before you leave, dont forget to sign it! Thanks so much for visitng!

Heyyyyy Everyone!
Welcome to my website! Do you like the new layout? I love it, Michelle did an awsome job!!! Plus there are no more pop-ups, yay! Thanks a million Michelle!
Thank you all for visiting my site. I really appreciate all of your support :)
Wow, I have a lot to say! I'm switching gyms and will be moving to Hill's Gymnastics in Maryland. I'm really excited! The only bad part is I won't be living with my family and be seeing my friends as often, but I will only be about 3 hours away. So, soon I can drive back to visit. I'll get my permit in February, wahoo!!
I will probably start school here and then move to Maryland once I know what I should do for my elbow. I have a stress fracture in my elbow (seems to be from a couple years ago and never healed). I meet with the doctor tomorrow so I will know what to do from there. I can't wait to get it better and start training again. I'm looking forward to competing as a Senior International Elite this year. My routines will probably change so dont forget to visit the Gymnastics link soon! Everything else is going good and nothing else really new. So that's all for now! Thanks again for visiting my site and I hope you enjoyed it! If you could sign my guestbook on the way out, that would be great. I would love to hear from you!
Luv always,
Krista

Great news everyone! My elbow is a lot better and I am back to doing everything! I still can't straighten it all the way, but it's so much better. I'm so excited to get back into things and learn new tricks! Besides that, my home schooling is still going very well. I got back my report card from the first marking period a couple weeks ago and I got all A's so, I'm happy about that.
Anyway, thank you all for visiting my website and supporting me. I really appreciate it a lot! Have fun looking at everything and make sure you sign my guestbook before you're done.
Thanks Again,

Hey everyone!
Thanks for visiting my website. Michelle worked really hard on it and she made a new web layout, it looks great Michelle!!! Thank you!
School started a couple of weeks ago for me. I do this homeschooling program with my school and I really like it! Gymnastics is going ok, but I injured my elbow in December and I had to keep working on it, so it just got worse. Finally, after Championships, I could go to the doctors to see what is wrong with it. My growth plate on my elbow is fragmented, I have two chips of my elbow floating around in there, and it's all inflamed. I was going to get surgery, but the doctor said that the chips were small enough to not have to get surgery. I have to rest it for three weeks and then I go back to the doctor.
Anyways, I want to thank everyone for supporting me and cheering me on!!! Hopefully I will be healed soon, and back working hard to get better! Thanks again for all of your support, and don't forget to sign my guestbook!
~<3~ Always,
Krista :-P
